The Associazione Archivio Piero Fogliati ETS is a third sector organisation committed to protecting, promoting and enhancing the artistic legacy of Piero Fogliati (1930–2016). This is achieved by cataloguing his works and organising cultural and scientific activities, exhibitions, events and publications in collaboration with museums, foundations, universities and public and private institutions.
A digital archive of his works, created in collaboration with Emblème and Allemandi Editore, is available online as a reference tool for scholars, enthusiasts, and cultural institutions.

Paolo Fogliati
Born on 26 January 1961, Paolo Fogliati graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in 1986.
From 1987 to 1993 he worked as a researcher at the Fiat Research Center, before joining Telecom Italia in 1993. Over the years he held several managerial positions in the development of fourth- and fifth‑generation mobile communication systems, as well as roles within the European Community in the field of regulatory affairs.
Alongside his professional career, his life has been deeply intertwined with that of his father. In 1978 he assisted him for three weeks in installing the works for the 38th Venice Biennale — an intense first immersion in his creative universe, marking the beginning of a more conscious and profound relationship with his work.
In the second half of the 1980s he met major collectors such as Giuseppe Panza di Biumo and Giuliano Gori, who supported and acquired numerous works by Fogliati. He also took part in many of his exhibitions in museums and international institutions — including Paris, Nagoya, Karlsruhe, Winterthur, Mulhouse, Bolzano — as well as numerous solo and group shows in Italian and foreign galleries.
Today he serves as President of the Piero Fogliati Archive ETS, a role through which he continues to promote, safeguard, and enhance his father’s oeuvre, maintaining a bond that has accompanied him throughout his life.
Elena Forin
Elena Forin is an independent curator, a member of LaRete ArtProjects, of IKT (the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art), and of RAAN (Ricerca Arte Ambiente Natura) at the University of Parma.
She teaches Contemporary Museology at the Accademia di Belle Arti Santa Giulia (Brescia) and is adjunct professor in Communication and Contemporary Media for Creative Industries at the University of Parma.
Her research combines an interest in contemporary artistic languages — painting, sculpture, installation, video, performance, social and collaborative practices, time‑based and site‑specific works — with an in‑depth engagement with their historical roots in the 1960s and 1970s.
She also focuses on participatory approaches, public art, ecological practices, and processes of re‑semanticisation and decolonisation within museums and art history.
Alongside her curatorial expertise, she has developed solid experience in cultural management through long‑term collaborations with ArtVerona (2020–2024), Art Miami (2012–2014), and various companies with which she explores and develops the relationship between art and business.
She has conceived and curated exhibitions, productions, projects, and talks in numerous institutions in Italy and abroad, including: MACRO – Museum of Contemporary Art Rome; Musei Civici di Verona; Ca’ Pesaro – Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna (Fondazione Musei Civici Venezia); Fondazione Quadriennale di Roma; Musei Civici di Bassano del Grappa; the Salenbauch Collection in Göppingen (Germany); Triennale Milano; Musei Civici di Modena; the Elgiz Collection in Istanbul (Turkey); Kunsthalle Osnabrück (Germany); and the Łaźnia Center for Contemporary Art in Gdańsk (Poland).
Marta Papini
Marta Papini is an independent curator. She is the curator of Radis, a four‑year public art programme promoted by Fondazione Arte CRT.
She co‑curated Fata Morgana: Memories from the Invisible with Massimiliano Gioni and Daniel Birnbaum, organised by Fondazione Nicola Trussardi at Palazzo Morando, Milan.
She is Associate Curator of Dimanche Sans Fin. Maurizio Cattelan & La Collection du Centre Pompidou, opening at Centre Pompidou‑Metz in 2025.
In 2024 she served as Associate Curator of Il parlamento delle marmotte, the 9th edition of Biennale Gherdëina, and of Pensare come una montagna (2024–2026), with Lorenzo Giusti.
In 2023 she was a member of the selection committee for the Future Generation Art Prize.
She was Artistic Organizer of The Milk of Dreams, the 59th Venice Biennale curated by Cecilia Alemani (2022).
She has curated and organised numerous exhibitions, including Lonely Are All Bridges. Birgit Jürgenssen and Cinzia Ruggeri, Fondazione ICA, Milan (2025) and Galerie Hubert Winter, Vienna (2021); Il mondo magico, Italian Pavilion, 57th Venice Biennale (2017, curated by Cecilia Alemani); and The Artist is Present, Yuz Museum, Shanghai (2018, with Maurizio Cattelan).
